"Your Choice Project" Assignment:
 | individual or team of 2 to 4 students; ABSOLUTELY NO MORE
THAN 4 STUDENTS ON A TEAM |
| worth two grades, one for content and one for presentation |
| due before Dec 12--no exceptions. If you haven't presented
before Dec 12, you will receive an F for the presentation portion of
the grade on "Your Choice Project".
I will, however, agree to grade your content. |

Purposes of the assignment
| Apply content learned in the academic activities
of the course. |
| Practice brainstorming and creative thinking
skills |
| Practice teamwork skills, including organization,
leadership, scheduling, quality control, project management |
| Develop the skills needed to implement the chosen
project |
| Develop skills in planning the design of a class
presentation to best communicate the nature of the project |
| Develop oral presentation skills integrated with
Microsoft Power Point or web-based visual support |
Your team will design and execute a project related to a topic
in the course. [See the "Project Ideas" link in the left navigation bar.]
Then you will present your project to the class.
"Your Choice Project" will contribute two units to your final course grade. One
grade will be assigned for the content of what you developed in designing,
planning and executing the project itself, one for the design and presentation
of the project to the class.
