|
| Postings should be courteous and respectful in their wordings and content. | |
| You should identify yourself when you make a posting. This is an intellectual pursuit and each of us should be willing to take ownership of our individual thinking processes. If you are not sure of yourself or think you might be embarrassed to say something, think it through again, before posting. | |
| You are allowed to change your mind! You can retreat from a position, reverse a position, or step out of a discussion to which you no longer feel comfortable contributing. It would be courteous in the last case for you to post a note stating that you are stepping out. | |
| You need to be a member of the class or be invited by a member of the class to contribute (in which case, the class member should identify him or her self to the Forum). | |
| All the postings should be read with an open mind, and with respect for the dignity and intrinsic human worth of the individual who wrote the posting. |
The forums are uncensored, in that contributions go directly to the public view without being passed through a screener. That being said, however, I, Juli-Ann Gasper, Ph.D., reserve the right to remove from the forum any posting that I consider to be disrespectful or hurtful and all postings that are anonymous.
If you want a new Discussion Forum added, let me know. I'll add it in quickly.
